Types of activities
The testing laboratory carries out work to determine the parameters and characteristics of railway transport facilities in accordance with the field of accreditation in order to determine compliance with regulatory documents.
Currently, the laboratory is able to perform all types of tests, including certification tests.

Types of tests
Today, the Testing Laboratory is able to perform the following types of tests, including acceptance and certification tests:
- running dynamic tests;
- strength tests (static and dynamic);
- brake tests;
- resource tests;
- impact strength tests;
- loading and unloading strength tests;
- determination of collisional load;
- tests to determine the impact of interference created by the passenger car electrical equipment on the rail circuits, signaling and communication devices;
- tests for electromagnetic compatibility;
- tests to determine technical characteristics;
- dimensional compliance testing;
- non-destructive testing;
- determination of hardness;
- vibration testing and determination of the body's natural vibration frequency;
- a test for smoothness of movement;
- fatigue tests;
- tests to determine the mechanical properties of materials;
- checking the technical condition of locomotives, freight, passenger and self-propelled wagons that were in operation;
- checking the technical condition of locomotives to extend their service life.
